1. Soil Preparation: Prepare rich, fertile, well-draining sandy-loam soil. Potting mix: equal parts fine garden soil, cocopeat, and compost or vermicompost. Maintain soil pH between 6.0 and 7.0.

2. Sowing: Start seeds in seedling trays or small cups, sowing 0.5 cm ($\frac{1}{4}$ inch) deep. Keep the soil moist in a semi-shaded spot until germination.
