Planting & Care Instructions
-
Soil Preparation: Prepare loose, fertile, well-draining garden soil enriched with vermicompost or well-rotted cow manure. Chrysanthemums prefer slightly acidic to neutral soil (pH 6.0–7.0).
-
Sowing: Sow seeds shallowly (about 0.1 inches deep) in seed trays filled with coco peat and sand. Press gently into the medium and cover lightly with fine soil.
-
Watering: Water evenly from the base to keep soil consistently damp during seedling stage. Avoid waterlogging and direct water contact on foliage during bloom stage.
-
Spacing & Care: Transplant seedlings (3–4 inches tall) into garden beds or 8-to-10-inch pots with 12–15 inches spacing. Pinch the growing tips when plants reach 6 inches tall to encourage branching and maximum buds.
